Services Provided by Patricia

I have been commissioned as a Notary Public since 2012. I am located in Clover, the York County, South Carolina area. I have an extensive background in the loan document, mortgage industry. Prior to becoming a Mobile Notary, I worked in the mortgage industry for nine (9) years. Therefore, giving me an advantage of the loan signing process.

I am available during the weekday and weekends. Please keep in mind though, I may have something scheduled, so as soon as you know you have a document that needs notarization, please contact me.

As a Mobile Notary and under the State Codes of South Carolina, travel fees are a flat fee per area or zip code that you are located within and these fees are separate from any notarial fees that are set by the State of South Carolina.

The travel fees can be located under the drop-down menu that says Fees.

Acknowledgment

This is where a signer acknowledges that they signed a document when before a notary. The signer could have signed it long before they were before a notary. The signer must personally appear before the notary to get this type of notarization

Affirmations & Oaths

Oath is a notarial act aht is legally equivalent to affirmation and in the notary certifies that at a single time and place an individual appeared before them, was correctly identified, and made a vow of truthfulness
Wills & Trusts

Wills & Trusts in some cases legally require notarization, some do not and may actually be invalidated if they are notarized, and some allow notarization as one of several witnessing options. Often, it is the signatures of witnesses to the will that will be notarized rather than that of the maker of the will, known as the testator.

If you are being asked as a Notary on how to proceed with a Will, then DO NOT NOTARIZE IT! STOP!

Attestations and Jurats

Attestations/Attest is the completion of a certificate by a notary who has performed a notarial act/signed it.

Jurat is where a notary has certified that they have administred an oath or affirmation to an individual and completed a certificate saying so.
